Job Description
A. KEY PURPOSE:
In this position, the HR Business Partner will partner with Cognizant’s commercial and delivery teams in France to implement an effective local talent strategy. This will require a close connect with our leaders and daily contact with our managers and associates. You will also manage and streamline interactions with varied stakeholders such as our C&B, Payroll team, Immigration and Recruitment teams. You will need to work independently to translate local business plans and goals into human resource capabilities needed to achieve results. You will also own HR operational efficiency and work with our Shares Services Center to reduce the HR team’s operational activities – enabling them to act as true business partners. Your years of experience, process orientation & implementation skills will be very valuable to drive the outcomes that we need.
B. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- To act as a single point HR contact for the employees and managers in the business unit
- Contribute to and support delivery of HR strategy in line with business objectives
- Build strong relationships with senior business leaders
- Build a world class employee experience throughout the career lifecycle;
- Take responsibility for managing the successful integration of staff from rebadging deals
- Set up and oversee the team on migration to cognizant process, tool, and rules
- Work with Managers to jointly find solutions and mitigations to business risks and business issues
- Manage metrics & analytics of HR information and reports and act on those;
- Engage the workforce through regular and targeted communications and initiatives;
- Work in partnership with the Corporate teams to improve organizational and people performance;
- Communicate and engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including staff representatives, Socials Relations and Legal

E. EXPECTED PROFILE - 12+ years' experience in a HR generalist, management or business partner role
- Master’s degree in a Human Resources discipline
- Employee relations, change management and team development experience
