The Future Talent Program features internships that last up to 12 weeks and will include one or more projects. These opportunities can provide you with great development and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term goals.

The intern will provide added value to our Company's customers in poultry. The intern will interact with customers to gain first hand technical experience and support the portfolio. The job scope and primary focus for this position is to actively support the sales strategy across a territory via coordination and execution of sales support activities including:

  • Support and service Animal Health Division product portfolio
  • Logistical support for market field trials assisting Sales and Tech Service Veterinarians
  • Developing and executing plans for engaging customers and meeting customer needs
  • Participate in field-based events (trade show support; customers education regarding the features and benefits of Animal Health Division products and services).
  • Ensure clear, concise and timely communication and problem identification with Sales and Tech Services Veterinarians

For Field-based Technical Service Interns in Animal Health, you will be required to rent a car. As part of this position requirements, you will have to be legally authorized to rent a car in the state in which you reside/work in.

Education Minimum Requirement:

  • Currently enrolled in any bachelor’s or master’s degree program (if applicable, related to Animal Science, Ag Business, Agriculture, etc. or other degree).
  • Completed at least 2 years of college course work by May 2020.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Available for a period of 10-12 weeks beginning the week of May 18, 2020
  • Travel 50% - 75%
  • Excellent interpersonal/communication and presentation skills
  • General computer skills including working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to use an iPad
  • Ability to be organized, adapt to a changing environment, work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Poultry experience.
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Additional language fluency
