Senior Financial Analyst, OneStream

In this role, the Senior Financial Analyst will use technology/finance/accounting knowledge to drive process re-engineering and technical design guidance for FP&A teams as we implement the OneStream application for Planning and Reporting. Working on a cross-functional Agile project team, you will represent the legacy Corporate Planning responsibilities of owning the underlying application, governance, and control supporting the planning process at Capital One while helping our customers re-imagine their future state processes and tools in an "On Demand Finance" world centered around automation and on-demand availability of data and results!

Major Responsibilities:

-Partner with tech teams and customers to re-imagine existing financial analysis & reporting processes leveraging a new application and new data movement patterns

-Maintain up-to-date understanding of projects which includes activities, risks and issues, assumptions and dependencies

-Provide timely status and risks updates to stakeholders and POD leadership

-Provide financial and technical leadership to our FP&A customers as we implement a new application to help them re-imagine existing processes to create recurring forecasts, and the annual budget

-Partner across our team and customers to enable improvements to methodologies and processes that provide transparency of costs and cost drivers to recipient businesses and improve their ability to analyze forecasted financial results to identify and address evolving business issues and opportunities

-Lead work to disposition processes from existing Hyperion applications and implement a new planning application for FP&A teams

Basic Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s Degree

-At least 1 year of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or financial modeling

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Finance

2+ years of experience in financial analysis, financial modeling, accounting, or forecasting

Experience working with accounting and finance related projects

Experience working with Hyperion software applications (HFM or Hyperion Planning), OneStream software, and Agile framework

Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) license or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
