Who we're looking for: We're looking for an Associate Project Manager to join our Trust & Safety Program Management team. Rover’s Trust & Safety Program Management team focuses on preventing safety and fraud incidents on the Rover platform. You will quickly gain an expertise in existing operational data, processes, and policies to execute moderately complex tasks and straight-forward projects that support the safety roadmap. You will dig deep into data and surface trends to support and influence the direction of safety initiatives. Through this role, you will develop your project management skills while managing multiple stakeholders, priorities and requirements.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and track success metrics of on-going safety initiatives
- Identify and communicate improvement opportunities within existing safety initiatives through in-depth data and process analysis
- Develop and communicate safety initiative performance metrics
- Under Program/Project Manager supervision, lead projects of simple to moderate complexity
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience; ideally within a technology company
- Experience with using basic to intermediate spreadsheet functions to perform data analysis. SQL knowledge preferred; willingness to learn SQL required
- Experience running operational tests with limited coaching; exposure to operational test design a plus
- Ability to leverage financial and other data to make straightforward prioritization decisions; aptitude to learn how to build a financial model and business case
- Ability to partner and communicate effectively within the broader operations team to achieve specific outcomes. Ability to build consensus amongst peers and managers within business unit
- Ability to communicate and make clear, concise presentations up to the Senior Manager Level with some coaching from manager
- Teaches and mentors more junior Operations Specialists and can help their professional development
