The Acquisition Marketing Manager is responsible for creating effective marketing initiatives and communications to advisor prospects that differentiate Schwab Advisor Services in the marketplace - with a focus on growth, new-to-firm assets and driving new client acquisition. This position will report to a Managing Director within the Institutional Services Marketing organization of Schwab.
· Understanding the prospect journey and how to use marketing to enhance the experience
· Collaborating with business partners and channel owners to implement marketing programs
· Working with agency partners to deliver differentiated marketing
· Project managing content and creative development
· Utilizing marketing automation capabilities to optimize communications
· Tracking marketing against business goals to measure success
· 1-5 years marketing experience in the financial services industry; understanding of the independent registered investment advisor (RIA) business preferred
· History of executing successful marketing for a recognized brand
· Ability to build strong working relationships and trust across business lines
· Strong project management skills with demonstrated success in managing multiple projects with short timelines
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills including marketing/creative brief writing, copywriting, editing, proofing
· Self-motivated with solid judgment and ability to think clearly and form a point of view
· Results-focused and able to work in team-based environment to achieve goals
· Strong presentation and PowerPoint skills
