Equipment Engineer

What you’ll be doing...

As an equipment engineer, you will be responsible for the Engineering and Designing of all cell sites and CRAN equipment for wireless networks.

• Planning Engineering and Implementation of Ericsson EnodeB's.
• Forecast future needs including, but not limited to, Ericsson radios, power requirements and HVAC efficiency.
• Ensure proper expansions to support cell site growth of all platforms Develop and issue planning report for sites to be utilized by Region & HQ Budgeting.
• Work closely with Area and Manager to prepare and review annual budget Track all Capital requirements related to the network.
• Monitor all equipment expenditures Prepare purchase orders and ensure vendor payment utilizing PeopleSoft Equipment Procurement & Optimization- Ensure optimum equipment utilization and efficiency.
• Oversee equipment installation and acceptance Project Management- Design, procure equipment and manage construction of new cell sites.
• Aid in design, procure equipment and manage network expansions.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

• Associates degree or two or more years of work experience.
• Three or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

• A degree in telecommunications.
• Military experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Experience with Gmail/G-suite.
• Strong Project Management and communication skills with the ability to work closely with team members.
• Experienced in RFDS manipulation.
• Experience with UneFI Financial tool.
• Self-motivated and have ability to complete tasks with little supervision.
