Commercial Real Estate - Originations Analyst

Production Analyst

The Commercial Real Estate Production Analyst is responsible for the following:

• Provide support to Newport Beach agency origination team and the Sr. Origination Analyst
• Input and update Salesforce Deal Records
• Track current loan portfolio for refinance opportunities
• Maintain spreadsheet of recent quotes from agencies
• Assist with creation and maintenance of deal team/pipeline spreadsheet
• Input historical operating statements and rent rolls into Loan Calc Models
• Size/structure loans according to Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae loan programs (as well as balance sheet, CMBS and Life Co. programs on occasion)
• Submit source documents to third party data input service and review loan models
• Draft Quote Sheets for Origination Team to review prior to presentation to client
• Generate loan screening memos for Credit approval prior to submission to Freddie/Fannie for quotes
• Assist with prescreen uploads to Agency Systems for quotes (DUS Gateway & Freddie Mac OUS)
• Review quotes provided by Fannie/Freddie
• Draft application letters/term sheets and assist with generation and collection of required due diligence information.
• Candidate will work closely with Underwriting and Processing teams on the tracking of due diligence items as well as coordinating third party report quotes, inspections, etc.
• Completing market and borrower research to assist the Originators on marketing plans
• Responsible for interaction with borrower to collect due diligence
• Assist with prepayment analysis on upcoming refinance opportunities
• Work closely with Underwriting, Closing and the Origination team to solve problems and ensure a smooth transaction for each client
• Overall, support and help grow the business of the Newport Beach Origination team (currently 3 Originators)

Basic Qu alifications :

• Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience
• At least 3 years of experience in a Commercial Real Estate Underwriting or Commercial Real Estate Originations role

Preferred Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, with a concentration in Real Estate or equivalent college Real Estate courses
• At least 4 years of experience in Commercial Real Estate Underwriting or Commercial Real Estate Originations
• At least 4 years of experience in Multifamily Agency lending (i.e. Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac)
