Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in advertising sales, marketing, consulting, or media.
  • Ability to speak and write in English and Korean fluently and idiomatically.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in planning, delivering and executing marketing campaigns, measurement and creative strategies.
  • Ability to effectively analyze using spreadsheet software and create/deliver impactful presentations.
  • Effective analytical skills, with the ability to think strategically about complex challenges and develop recommendations and action plans.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to collaborate with sales, marketing, training, and product teams.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to present advertising solutions to multiple audiences.

Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

As a Business Development Consultant, you'll work with internal stakeholders to optimize new business partnerships to help them grow and develop their digital marketing strategy. You'll build and manage clients while working towards strategic goals.

In collaboration, we create and implement business plans broadly for all types of businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and bring new advertisers to Google.
  • Consult with C-level clients to achieve national and international online marketing and business growth goals.
  • Design marketing solutions using your product knowledge to optimize success for our customers.
  • Identify customers' needs and challenges, and pitch the right solutions to deliver an excellent client experience.
  • Act as a business consultant to understand the needs and objectives of the business and identify the connection between Google solutions and business needs.
