Vice President, Solution Architect

Job Description

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Vice President, Solution Architect for its Elk Grove Village, IL location.

Duties: Architect automated solutions for Retail Services Information Management (RSIM) and Business Operations. Re-engineer & streamline business processes and develop automated solutions for marketing & non-marketing campaigns execution. Coordinate with RSIM, Business Intelligence (BI) and third party vendors to identify the data requirements. Manage extract-transform-load (ETL) processes, identify critical data variables, design file and field layout requirements, design test plans, and lead implementation efforts. Partner with ‘Financially Leveraging Products’(FLP) vendors to architect solutions to manage ‘Debt protection’ transactions, which includes enhancements that streamline and automate the current manual methods for billing accountholders using UNIX, SAS, and Encompass technologies. Design solutions that will eliminate human intervention and provide 100% automation with maximum accuracy, leverage process controls and while complying with marketing governance standards. Lead analytical and technology based proof-of-concepts in support of a variety of business operations initiatives and to provide technical/analytical advice to a variety of business partners in support of business operations and new product/partner-onboarding initiatives.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related field and four (4) years of experience in a Marketing Technology and Business Consulting role or closely related position. Full term of experience must include: SAS to perform data pulls, manipulation, business rules implementation, reporting, data transfer and validations; UNIX; Autosys for scheduling recurring SAS and UNIX jobs; SQL to access Oracle and Teradata databases and to improve efficiency and performance of SAS programs handling large datasets; and Oracle Database/Teradata. Two (2) years of experience must include: Campaign Automation Management.
