Senior IT Software Engineer

Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION: Translate business requirements and functional specifications into logical integration program designs, integration code modules, stable application systems, and software integration solutions with guidance from senior colleagues as appropriate by partnering with Business Analysts to understand business needs and functional specifications; recommend technical integration solutions that meet design and functional needs; collaborate with software engineers and consultants to ensure functional specifications are converted into flexible, scalable, and maintainable integration solution designs; write, review, and/or validate clear technical integration specifications and documentation; identify specific interfaces, methods, parameters, procedures, and functions as required to support technical integration solutions. Develop, configure, or modify integrated business and/or enterprise application integration solutions within various computing environments by designing and coding component-based Integrations using various programming languages; apply various software development methodologies; build partnerships with IT teams and vendors to ensure written code adheres to company Integration architectural standards, Integration design patterns, and technical integration specifications; produce and validate Integration design artifacts (e.g., object models, sequence diagrams) to help others understand and adhere to company Integration coding standards; lead, mentor, and train other technical integration resources to develop Integration services; develop, validate, and execute component integration test (CIT) scenarios to identify application errors and ensure software solutions meet functional specifications; work with IT teams to revise applications based on test results as appropriate.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job requires a Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and 2 years of experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of Integration solutions using Microsoft Integration tools OR Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and 5 years of progressive post-bachelor’s experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of Integration solutions using Microsoft Integration tools. Must have prior experience with Microsoft Azure Integration Services including: 2 years of experience in ESB, ETL, Messaging, EDI Integration Tools; 2 years of experience with C#/.Net Development Technologies; 2 years of experience with XSD, XML, XSLT, JSON; experience in database technologies; experience with WSDL, Swagger/OpenAPI frameworks; experience in Integration tools including BizTalk; experience in Microsoft Azure Platform (Azure Active Directory and Access control) & iPaaS Tools (ASB, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Function Apps, Data Factory, API Management); and experience in applying Agile development practices.
