Passionate about the role and the mission of the organization and committed to being a strong partner to the EVP Supply Chain; the Sr. Director Exec Planning & Execution works in partnership with the EVP Supply Chain, leadership team, and rest of the organization on special projects.The Sr. Director Exec Planning & Execution must be people oriented, objective and communicate well with different personality types.By exercising considerable judgment in his/her capacity, the Sr. Director Exec Planning & Execution must be very organized, work efficiently and effectively and have the ability to analyze project and policy issues; thinking ahead to catch and identify organization-wide impacts of issues proactively and then coordinate responses to the EVP Supply Chain on strategies and alternatives for dealing with issues.
The Sr. Director Exec Planning & Execution is committed to the EVP Supply Chain as principal executive, not the board or staff—except through that principal executive. Additionally, the Sr. Director Exec Planning & Execution represents the principal executive but isn't a principal executive, and thus must be willing to use their power and influence to lead from behind.The principal executive maintains control and supervision of communications, governance, technological progress and, confidentiality.
The Sr. Director Exec Planning & Execution may need to engage with vendors, suppliers and other external parties as needed to advance the company's goals.The Sr. Director Exec Planning & Execution develops systems and processes to ensure alignment across the organization to ensure that efforts are coordinated and uniformed and may also provide coaching and direction where appropriate and ensure that team members keep on point with assigned project tasks. The Sr. Director Exec Planning & Execution will integrate into the departments to gain deep knowledge of issues and assess issues that serve as barriers to a team or organization's maximum effectivenessand will also manage communications distributed within supply chain as it relates to the assignments s/he are responsible for to ensure alignment and synergy with the strategic plan and priorities of Supply Chain.
