JOB SUMMARY

Under the direction of the General Ledger Manager in US, the UK Accountant is responsible for

performing and reviewing accounting tasks and functions to maintain compliance with corporate

policies, procedures and local regulations. Duties include assistance and coordination with various teams

within Accounting Department as well as local business regarding the full range of accounting tasks

related to EMEA entity.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

● Assist with month end close including journal entries, prepaid amortization, accruals, and etc

● Review transactions to ensure coding accuracy in NetSuite

● Assist with margin analysis and flux analysis

● Perform monthly reconciliation for balance sheet accounts

● Maintain Fixed Asset ledger for new additions, depreciation and disposal. Responsible for

monthly roll-forward reporting and FA related inquiry/ project.

● Review VAT related transaction for accuracy and perform quarterly VAT filing to HMRC

● Assist with local internal and external audit

● Assist with Tax Director for various tax filings

● Assist with other ad hoc projects as assigned from the corporate

● Advocate corporate accounting policy in local office and provide support to business as needed

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:

● Bachelor degree in Accounting with good knowledge of GAAP

● 1-2 years general ledger accounting experience

● Experience with ERP, Netsuite is preferred

● Self-starter

● Able to work independently and prioritize assigned tasks
