Role Overview

This position is responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of supply chain compliance across the Landing Systems business globally. This position will be primarily focus on supply chain, but will need to engage with different functional teams (Finance, Internal trade, Compliance, Legal, etc) to ensure Supply Chain is best positioned to meet any internal or external regulatory or UTC policy requirements.

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop or enhancement procurement policies, procedures and processes to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements

Ensures that LS supply chain remains in compliance with internal and external SC requirements

Leads in the execution of supply chain policies and procedures focused on improving processes and systems.

Optimizes use of technology to drive improvements/efficiencies while meeting compliance requirements. Drives standard work across landings systems as it relates for procurement compliance.

Supports systems/digital enhancements in alignment with supply chain strategy

Interfaces with internal and external resources to support and regulatory supply chain audits. Lead for LS related to any supply chain audits.

What Does Success Look Like?:

Highly process oriented.

Previous experience with developing or implementing business processes and systems

Strong military procurement acumen (FAR’s / DFAR’s)

Previous experience with SAP

Disciplined and structured approach to managing activities, supports with data and facts

Ability to manage, consolidate and interpret data from multiple different sources - deal with ambiguity

High degree of change management and compliance oversight to ensure effective business support in a constantly changing business environment.

Bias for action in a potentially ambiguous environment

Basic Qualifications:
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline and 7 years of relevant experience or an Advanced degree in the appropriate discipline and 5 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a degree, 11 years of relevant experience is required.
