HRIT Business Systems Analyst
Katerra is looking for an HRIT Business Systems Analyst! This is a great opportunity to be the liaison between the business partners in the HR and Corporate areas as well as the Technical Team. The HRIT Business Systems Analyst will primarily be responsible for Corporate and HR Back Office and Technical Solutions!
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Identifies, develops, and evaluates alternatives to meet business requirements. Coordinates with internal and external business partners in developing or enhancing systems, processes, and procedures.
- Develops business design documentation based on sponsor / customer requirements to effectively and accurately communicate project specifications to project partners.
- Assist in maintaining business partner / vendor relationships.
- Contributes to the development and implementation of comprehensive communications, training plans and materials for internal and external business associates and customers.
- May coordinate the design, testing, and generation of new management reports as business requirements dictate.
- Develops and administers documentation of projects, recommendations, and implementation procedures. Communicates project outcomes in a clear, effective, and timely manner to necessary parties in the business areas and other customer areas.
- Develops and maintains current knowledge of assigned business areas. Improves understanding of business system tools, practices, and methodologies.
- Provides estimated work effort for all tasks to be completed for a project assignment.
- Performs requirements testing through the development of comprehensive test plans, execution of the test plan, documenting any problems encountered, and approving the changes for implementation and promotions.
- Works within the team and with other departments to develop realistic timelines through efficient preplanning and organization and monitoring of tasks and deliverables to ensure deadlines are achieved.
- Demonstrates and integrates Continuous Process Improvement review into all assignments.
- Responsible for Workday release upgrades testing and deployment
- Partner with technical counterparts on identifying suggested/required integrations that support automation of data flows.
Required Skills & Experience
- 6-8 years of overall IT experience supporting and rolling out HR systems and processes primarily Workday HCM
- 3-4 years’ experience supporting and configuring Workday including integrations and security
- Workday Report writing experience
- Expert level knowledge of Calculated fields creation and maintenance
- Sound knowledge of HR Business Processes and Functions
- Extensive knowledge of Workday SOAP and REST APIs, Web Services, EIBs, Core Connectors, Document Transformations, Studio integrations and Reports development including BIRT
- Deep knowledge of Workday HCM business objects, data and domains
- Highly motivated self-starter, with the ability to meet stringent deadlines, to work independently and as part of a team
- A willingness to work in a fluid environment with high adaptability to change is a must for this position; the candidate should also be able to work cooperatively with cross-functional, global/remote teams
