The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking an advanced Systems Engineering Analyst. The role will support Systems Engineering teams through aircraft modification and Federal Aviation Administration certification efforts for the United Sates Air Force customer. This individual will interact with engineering and supporting functions to develop metrics related to certification projects. The role be responsible for maintaining complex schedules, providing status to leadership, and process management. The individual must be enthusiastic and hands-on in their approach and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Some travel may be required, and may be for extended periods of time working away from the OKC location. This position is located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties will include but not limited to:

  • Utilizes tools and business systems to researches, analyzes, and compiles technical data to optimize effectiveness over the program lifecycle.
  • Develops conclusions and recommendations based on data analysis and consultation with affected teams.
  • Assists in the integration of technical, cost, value, risks and specialty engineering considerations into definition of the product.
  • Builds relationships and interfaces with other members of the program, leadership, customers and suppliers to meet team objectives.
  • Documents processes, develops guidance material, and facilitates continuous improvement.

Work Authorization:

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study.
  • At least 5 years of related work experience.
  • Experience in data analysis, continuous improvement, schedule development/management, technical communication.
  • Demonstrated success adapting to change in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Leading projects and initiatives across multiple teams
  • Experience with regulatory compliance
  • Technical writing

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
