Job Description

  • Mine data, perform quantitative analysis and create clear and actionable narratives about our subscribers and the drivers of their behaviors
  • Partner with colleagues facilitating the design, build and automation of reports and dashboards that provide insights into customer patterns
  • Build intuitive interfaces, infographics and visualizations to tell stories with data.
  • Create presentations with analysis and insights for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Assist in providing ongoing reporting and analysis to inform and support business and marketing decisions
  • Perform deep-dives studies to inform best practices for different products and strategies
  • Train and support colleagues in the use of self-service data exploration and visualization tools
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment
  • 2+ years of analytical experience
  • 2+ years work experience using SQL and Python/R or other statistical programming language
  • Familiarity with data exploration and data visualization tools like Tableau or Looker. It’s a plus if you can share a portfolio of clear, intuitive and insightful visualizations
  • Understanding of statistics concepts (e.g., hypothesis testing, regression analysis)
  • Ability to think strategically, analyze and interpret market and consumer information
  • Strong communication skills, as well as written and verbal presentation skills
  • Working within the Marketing/Advertising vertical
  • Experience in the streaming media industry or other subscription-based service
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant focus (i.e., Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics or Machine Learning)
Disney Streaming Services (DSS) is looking for a Data Analyst to help deliver critical analytic insights and visualizations across the Marketing and Data organization. This individual will analyze all facets of ESPN+ and Disney+ subscriber awareness, acquisition, conversion and retention behaviors. You will collaborate closely across marketing, product, data engineering, data science and business teams to design and implement reporting and analytic studies. Your work will enable internal clients to access, explore and monitor data. Your analysis, trends and insights will help teams have a deeper understanding of our subscribers and their behaviors.
Required Education :
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant focus (i.e., Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics or Machine Learning)

Preferred Education :
  • 2+ years of analytical experience
  • 2+ years work experience using SQL and Python/R or other statistical programming language
