Job Description

THIS IS WHAT YOU’LL DO: · Prepare weekly finance reports · Support the financial commercial reviews, liaising closely with purchasing and engineering · Participation in month-end reporting, including accruals and variance analysis · Engage business partners in Engineering and Supply Chain on spend forecasting and identifying savings opportunities or program risks · Investment analysis on current and future vehicle programs and first-to-market vehicle technologies · Help create financial tools for the entire Product Development Finance team · Ad-hoc reporting and analysis THIS IS WHAT YOU’LL NEED: · 2 years of Finance experience (automotive or tech industry preferred) · Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting · Deep knowledge of and advanced skills within Microsoft Excel · Experience in SAP preferred (not required) · Experience in Host Analytics or other FP&A forecasting tool strongly preferred · Must be a highly motivated self-starter who is able to achieve results with minimal direction · Requires a high-energy individual who has excellent partnering, and negotiation skills · Must be a driver for constructive process and system change · Excellent communication and documentation skills THIS IS WHERE YOU’LL WORK: Department: Finance Location: San Jose, CA RIVIAN DESCRIPTION: We Are Rivian Rivian is building a new kind of car company.
