Description POSITION SUMMARY
You will be an integral part on the Global Diversity and Inclusion (D+I) team assisting in the planning, development, and implementation of D+I programs and initiatives in accordance with Danaher’s broader global Human Resources and business goals. Reporting directly to the VP, you will help drive a cultural transformation for Danaher globally. This role is responsible for supporting the creation, development, management and execution of D+I language, brand assets, messaging that will be integrated into the following areas, but not limited to:
- Internal and External Communications
- D+I Global Projects and Initiatives
In addition, you will be responsible for management of significant cross-functional, complex projects that intersect with other areas of HR and the business tied to, but not limited to:
- Activation of Inclusive Leadership Behaviors
- Culture of Belonging
- Utilizing talent and HR data to enhance D+I storytelling
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with the Global D+I team to ensure D+I messaging is consistently applied to all programs and initiatives to ensure that Danaher attracts more under-represented talent and supports the continued evolution of our culture of belonging
- Manage development of content, overall appearance and updates to Danaher Connect D+I pages and work closely with Corporate Communications on D+I content used on external facing websites
- Manage development of and validation of global D+I associate personas and ensure language is integrated into internal comms and external employment branding
- Partner with Corporate Communications on D+I monthly publishing calendar for social media
- Manage the internal D+I Community of Practice across the OpCos and ensure best practices are shared and voice of customer is funneled back to help influence Global D+I strategy
- Oversight and management of all D+I external partnerships including annual contract renewal, alignment of internal resources to better optimize partnerships and annually evaluation of partnerships
- Manage strategy, in partnership with Corporate Communications, for positioning Danaher on “Best Places to Work” lists
- Manage regular cadence of compiling D+I analytics and dashboards for reporting to the D+I Council, Danaher Leadership Team and Office of the Chief Executive
- Assist VP, D+I on special projects and global initiatives
Job Requirements Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate must be an excellent communicator, intellectually curious and have a strong work ethic. The individual must be an independent thinker and self-starter with the bandwidth to multi-task and work on several key projects at a given time. It is important that the individual have superior interpersonal skills with an ability to work with people at multiple levels both inside and outside of Danaher. The candidate must be globally minded and able to champion Diversity + Inclusion.
- Will have strong oral and written communication skills to global audiences
- Will manage his or her time effectively and have superior planning and organization skills
- Will be a self-starter and proven team player capable of prioritizing his or her own work and/or problems simultaneously
- Must be comfortable working in a high-energy, quickly changing and demanding environment
- Able to travel 20 - 25%, both domestic and international
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering or Human Resource/ related field
