Commercial Business Developer for Boomi

Milan

The Boomi Sales Manager serves as the single point of contact to the Sales GM to maximize Boomi revenue and sales participation in the country, leading the overall Commercial segment account planning go-to-market and strategy. Key is to build relationships across executive level decision makers and influencers within region, as such act as an entrepreneur to fast grow the Boomi business. You partner with field sales and services teams for overall account relationship and drive opportunities until closing. Functioning as a change agent across the matrix organization, the Boomi Sales Manager will be reinforcing and advocating the principles of an aligned Dell Technologies strategy. You have the opportunity and are expected to grow and scale along with the challenge.

Based in Italy the position reports into the VP Strategically Aligned Business Commercial based in France.

Solutions & Product

  • Responsible for full Dell EMC and Dell Technologies (Boomi) portfolio.
  • Drive Dell Client, Server & Storage solution sales and be partnered with key Dell Technologies Sales Leaders in support of driving revenue and funnel in Boomi and Dell EMC customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own overall Commercial Boomi sales go-to-market and support account management.
  • Engage directly with customers and key partners at CXO level to position Boomi’s advantages & demonstrate measurable ROI.
  • Communicate Dell Technologies’ unique value to customers and programmatically align and drive key strategic initiatives of Dell Technologies “Go Big Win Big” strategy.
  • Consistently achieve Boomi revenue and margin targets. Achieve and exceed quotas, KPI metrics, sales goals, and attainments.
  • Responsible for enabling prospection and pipeline generation. Drive pipeline sufficiency and accuracy. Lead territory planning and support account planning with extended team.
  • Enable sales team with all necessary product trainings.
  • Collaborate with Dell Technologies matrix management leadership team to achieve desired business results and drive customer value/loyalty.

Required Experience, Qualifications and Skills

  • At least 5 years of experience as sales account manager in the IT/technology industry.
  • Proven track record of complex sales into large accounts.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Able to influence without formal authority.
  • Entrepreneurial and driven attitude with a strong can-do mentality.
  • Firm with sturdy backbone yet adaptive and flexible to a fast-paced environment.

Desired Experience, Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Successful experience in software sales
