The Data-Driven Communications team (DDC) within the Schwab Central Marketing organization supports multiple business units across Schwab by helping customers make informed decisions based on meaningful information we deliver to them when they need it.

The team’s core objective is to substantively drive business growth and deepen client relationships by transforming how Schwab uses data and analytics. We do this by providing our marketing and business partners with support in their acquisition and client engagement strategies by identifying events, triggers, alerts, attributes, etc., that uncover opportunities for meaningful interactions with all customers.

What you’re good at

The Manager for Lead Management is responsible for developing and executing lead management across the retail (B2C) business within Schwab. The primary focus of the role is executing against the Lead Management strategy, manage associated lead processes, continually understand the customer experience to inform strategy, help improve lead quality, and drive pipeline conversion. You will have a strong blend of execution-oriented, marketing knowledge, and marketing automation/lead management experience.

Essential functions include:

  • Execute the lead management strategy across the retail business and provide recommendations on process improvements
  • Understand personas and pain points throughout the buyer journey, and support improving demand generation marketing campaigns, optimizing lead scoring and leveraging data to understand the prospect experience throughout the lead lifecycle.
  • Manage functional expansions, which may include launching lead forms and maintaining scoring models (e.g. qualification scoring model).
  • Socialize results with business partners across the firm, maintaining a strong working relationship with marketing and sales and fostering alignment between these teams.
  • Influence business requirements to determine and develop improved pipeline reporting and KPIs
  • Ensure sales and marketing partners have the tools and training to understand and handle leads effectively and efficiently.
  • Maintain the day-to-day tasks to keep the lead management system operating efficiently.

What you have

  • Minimum 2 years experience within a marketing role or organization
  • Experience with marketing automation– preferably Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Experience with customer relationship management systems – preferably Salesforce
  • Demonstrated ability to establish credibility quickly, build relationships, and facilitate discussions with cross-functional partners, asking probing questions to understand motivations and perspectives, then driving recommendations and consensus
  • Ability to learn quickly, and understand complex business processes and organizations
  • Knowledge of the buyer journey / lead lifecycle process, and how marketing can drive business growth
  • Experience working on cross-functional teams
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to drive high-level strategy and evolution, while still managing the day-to-day details
  • Collaborative, solutions-oriented problem solver
  • Results-driven, highly motivated self-starter who possesses integrity, and thrives in an environment of respect and treats others as such
  • Bachelor’s degree required
