Job Description
The Campus Recruiter Intermediate is an intermediate position responsible for the end-to-end strategy, execution and delivery of the campus recruitment process in coordination with the Human Resources team. The overall objective of this role is to participate in various recruitment initiatives in support of the overall business strategy.
Responsibilities:
- The Recruiter will focus on driving a strategy in support of campus talent acquisition. He/she will apply his/her experience developing relationships with business leadership and HR Advisors, in order to align talent pipelines for Intern, Analyst, and Associate needs, providing excellent services as a trusted partner. This individual will leverage their campus connections to proactively identify external talent, using a multi-channel approach including social networking. Additionally, the successful candidate will have proven experience, delivering results by driving innovation and exhibiting subject matter expertise in order to influence hiring decisions
- Build and maintain relationships with local and foreign universities. Start, develop, and maintain partnerships with universities to create a pipeline of talent, improve the perception of the company as one of the best employers of choice, promote diversity, and provide development/career opportunities for staff and students. Obtaining talent from local and international universities and implementing the global strategy to improve our ability to attract and develop talent from campus. Management of postings in universities of positions and programs
- Acts as Talent Advisor; consults with clients to develop appropriate sourcing strategy (e.g. campus program, campus as a source, networking, and social recruitment, etc)
- Source applicants, screen resumes, interview and assess candidates and provide list of qualified candidates to hiring managers
- Facilitates calibration and feedback conversations with key stakeholders and candidates.
- Partner with respective Human Resource Advisors, compensation leads, and hiring managers to prepare reasonable and fair offers for campus program hires
- Participate in diversity recruiting events and activities
- Perform program management functions including onboarding, training, events, offers, rotations, placements, performance management, compensation, and promotion, as necessary, acting as primary coordinator and contact for program hires
- Manage and exercise the budget for fairs, giveaways, Campus Talent events, review and purchasing management by P2P system
- Ensure all hiring policies and procedures are adhered to and that “best practice” recruitment guidelines are administered throughout the recruitment process
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of relevant experience
- Experience in financial services industry preferred
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Highly organized with the ability to regularly generate strong pipelines of qualified candidates
- Strong understanding of HR compliance procedures
- Applicant Tracking Systems (Avature preferred) and recruiting processes
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
