Corporate Treasurer

Job Overview:

The Corporate Treasurer will ensure that Rocket Software maximizes its financial position and that it has the capital to meet its obligations, involving raising funds from banks, as well as debt and equity markets, actively trading in the foreign exchange, commodity and money markets and be the lead for Debt investor and Rating Agency relationships. The Corporate Treasurer will also assist with corporate M&A, strategic plan, insurance and other Corporate issues as part of Finance leadership team. They will formulate the framework and policies for cash and currency management, including strategy and policy, as well as monitor, model and enhance the liquidity management and cash flow planning for all business units and companywide. The Corporate Treasurer will ensure accuracy and completeness of consolidation, analysis, reporting of treasury related items including financial income and expenses, debt position, equity position, cash and liquid assets, and other financial assets. They will also participate in the major funding risk assessment of the investment projects, acquisitions and business matters, and provide funding solutions, etc.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Oversees daily cash management
• Prepare driver-based cash forecasts and manage to avoid surprise revolver borrowings
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of realized and unrealized currency gains/losses in the general ledger
• Handle the administration of debt service (interest and principal)
• Transact currency risk management and administer related accounting
• Preserve company cash and the investment of surplus funds
• Maintain positive banking relationships and rating agency relationships
• Set short-term investment policies
• Manage Rating Agency and Debt Investor relationships
• Manage company refinancing, if needed
• M&A support

• An undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
• At least 10 years of total business experience with a minimum of 5 -8 years “Operational Treasury” experience.
• Extensive experience in managing cash flow, currency hedging/repatriation, and risk assessment with M&A
• Strong knowledge of monetary markets, investment management, and financing techniques
• Demonstrated ability to form relationships with operational leaders to guide them in providing cash flow forecasting and understanding how to manage accordingly if and when they do not deliver on their forecasts

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA
• Software or technology industry experience preferred.
