    • Create self-help training materials: documents, micro video presentations, guidelines, and examples
    • Perform detailed analysis of services to solidify your learnings and skills, have a direct impact on some of the key features and services that the site depends upon
    • As time permits, you’ll also delve into web page analysis, evaluation the communications flow and content delivery of our web pages to the end user; learning about key measures and actions we can take to make the site faster for our end users, including the impacts it has for our mobile and international users

Who You Are

    • Must be currently enrolled in a university and graduating after Summer 2020
    • Java development skills with foundational understanding of the JVM and Garbage Collection
    • Experience with Linux, with the shell and navigation, and exposure to Linux internals tools
    • Solid communications skills, working with teams across Ancestry from multiple locations
    • Nodejs experience and understanding of the underlying V8 engine is desirable
    • Experience with AWS technologies, containers and docker, and network services are desired
