As Global Facilities – Manager/Senior Manager of Innovation and Sustainability, you will be an integral member of the Global Facilities Innovation and Integration Group responsible for creating and implementing innovation programs to drive organizational effectiveness and developing the Sustainability execution plan (including Network coordination) to meet Micron’s Sustainability goals.

In this role you will need to work closely with Teams from Global and Site Facilities, Global EHS, Global Procurement, Corporate Finance, Risk Management and Manufacturing Central Team, as well as external industry agencies and consultants to fulfill the position and group responsibilities.

Responsibilities and Duties include, but not limited to:

• Develop Innovation Programs to drive organization effectiveness
  • Design, develop and deliver innovation solutions that promote a high-performance culture and enhance organization effectiveness
  • Design diagnostic tools, conduct organizational needs assessment and implement targeted interventions
  • Lead analysis of Organization’s Performance results, identify themes or trends and reporting findings to the Global Facilities Leadership team
  • Identify and establish benefits realization plan and develop benefits metrics and monitoring
  • Continually assess benefit metrics and realization, and communicate progress to stakeholders
  • Coordinate and facilitate organization events and workshops
• Support Sustainability Roadmap and Execution
  • Define and develop the roadmap for the long-term Sustainability strategy with close collaboration with Global EHS, MCT, Global Procurement, Legal and other relevant departments
  • Lead the Network effort to implement, monitor and drive continuous improvement to drive the success of Micron’s Sustainability programs in alignment with the long-term Sustainability strategy
  • Lead coordinator with Facilities Discipline Subject Matter Experts, Global Environmental Group and MCT on the BKMs for the 4 pillars of Sustainability (Energy, Emission, Water and Waste) to meet Sustainability BIC
  • Monitor, measure and report out the Sustainability Performance across company from regular newsletter to routine Executive summary report
  • Build and mature the Network’s Sustainability Database including analyses and audit the integrity of the data and weight the benefits of all the programs/decisions leading towards Micron’s long-term Sustainability commitments
• Support Quality, Training, Metrics and Communication Programs
  • Drive Quality results across internal/external audit through setting up structured framework for the Quality programs
  • Identify and develop training and certification programs that support Global and Site efforts
  • Design and Develop appropriate metrics to drive improvement
  • Strengthen communication program and process to enhance collaboration between all stakeholders

  • Invest time in coaching and mentoring people
  • Help Team members learn, grow and stay current on latest innovations that will support and enhance their area of expertise
  • Provide honest assessment of people
  • Deliver clear messages that foster improvement
  • Encourage the team and Network to innovate and to be creative
  • Plan and schedule program timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel

Education:

Required: B.S. Degree in Engineering or Facility related field of study

Desired: Certification in Energy Management, Sustainability or related field of study

Experience:

• 10 years’ experience in Facilities with minimum 4 years in managerial role
• Innovation mindset leadership to challenge boundaries and encourage others to step outside of their comfort zone
• Strong interpersonal skill set, ensuring clear and sound communication
• Self-motivated and driven
• Capable of compiling executive level reports and presentation materials
• Proficient with Microsoft Office include PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.
• Experience with Share Point is a plus.
• Meeting and Presentation Skills
• Program and Project management experience
