Job Overview: Reporting to the VP of Finance, this is a strategically important role that will be responsible for delivering insights to senior executives, including the CEO, CFO and Board of Directors regarding Rocket’s overall IBM business relationship. This highly visible role will interface frequently with all internal leaders including the CEO, CFO, Sales and R&D to effectively understand complex set of data and communicate an effective analysis with all levels of the organization.

• Design and implement a process and data architecture to enable comprehensive analytics for the majority of revenue and profits of a strategic and highly valuable partnership
• Analyzing trends using historical data, provide insights to better understand revenue performance, costs and profitability by product line and revenue channels.
• Develop KPIs and models to understand strategy, financials results along with future indicators of good capital allocation
• Build and maintain on-going executive reporting dashboard
• Present analysis to CEO, CFO & executive team
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field.
• Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in Finance or analytical function
• Demonstrated ability to manage tight deadlines and competing priorities with a high degree of accuracy and minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal & written communication skills, comfortable presenting to and interacting with C-level executives
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and unstructured, disparate data
• Must be highly analytical to manage large amounts of data, structure the right context, draw conclusions and tie back to strategic initiatives. Able summarize in a way that C-Suite and BOD can understand the broader implications.
• Forecast financial data using multiple sources of information
• Enterprise software industry experience desired
• High level of Excel knowledge with the ability to use pivot tables and manipulate large data sets
• Self-starter with a desire to learn and grow in a team environment
• Excellent organizational skills
• Intellectual curiosity & strategic mindset
• Experience with Essbase and Smart View preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

• Enterprise software industry or management consulting experience
• Master’s degree in Finance or Business
• Experience with Oracle ERP, PowerBI, SFDC
