Essential Responsibilities

The Inspector II shall be responsible for:

  • Works under general supervision to assist with inspecting arriving, in-process and completed products for quality.
  • Performs basic to moderately complex in-process, final bench and product feature inspections. Inspects actual products on the floor and on-line.
  • Performs basic to moderately complex First Article Inspections (FAI) and conformity inspections.
  • Prepares technical reports, graphs and charts.
  • Reviews and accepts inspection data for product certification.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Working Environment

  • Work is performed in a production environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Limited exposure to physical risk.
  • Some inspection is performed in laboratory conditions.
  • Alternating shifts and overtime required, including weekends and holidays.
  • Lift items that weigh up to 35 pounds.
  • No travel required.

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of four years of relative experience required.
