EquensWorldline (EWL), an EFT service provider, has a wide and varied range of data at its disposal. In the EWL Fraud Risk Management (FRM) Department, The FRM Analytics team centralizes the knowledge concerning this data as well as the competences for its valorization in the Domain of Fraud Detection, for the benefit of ourselves and our customers.

Within the FRM Analytics team you are responsible for the functional management of the EWL Fraud Risk Management Infrastructure. You report directly to the head of the FRM Analytics team.

In your job, you support the technical maintenance of the FRM Infrastructure, you act upon irregularities, and you implement changes to our products. Furthermore, you manage and extend the functionalities of this infrastructure and you are responsible for the analysis, development and evaluation of advanced fraud detection mechanisms; for all this you will work closely with internal departments and external partners.

Of course you never lose sight of the added value of our services for the external market, our customers!

A few of your main activities during your first months are:
- Build general knowledge of the EWL products and services;
- Build specific knowledge of the Fraud Detection domain;
- Build specific knowledge of the Fraud Detection Infrastructure;
- Take up clearly defined Fraud Detection tasks;

Your profile:
• You have a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or any other hard science;
• You have experience in programming (SQL, Python...);
• You have an analytical mindset and a strong sense for data analysis;
• You are able to translate the needs of our (internal and external) clients towards data;
• You can work independently;
• You are French or Dutch speaking and have a good knowledge of English;
• Knowledge of the Fraud Risk Management Domain or Fraud Detection is a plus;
• Experience in Big Data infrastructure is a plus;
