Job Description
The Data Privacy Product covers the establishment of tools and services to support compliance with existing and future privacy legislation (e.g. General Data Protection Regulation, California Consumer Privacy Act), including education of consumers (both customer and non-customer).
The Privacy Product team is dedicated to providing consistent vision and strategy for data privacy across JPMC and in alignment with global privacy requirements which change and raise the bar for the collection and processing of personal information (PI) of consumers.
The Program Manager will be responsible for driving decisions and firm-wide compliance for the Data Privacy Product across Privacy Legislations. The role requires high collaboration across LOBs, Data Management, Legal and Compliance teams in order to ensure the firm supports the Data Privacy Product.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting the Product Owner and Area Product Owners including key decision making.
- Serving as program representative for Product Owner and Area Product Owners as needed
- Driving the Data Privacy Program to ensure alignment with firm-wide deliverables and goals.
- Collaborating with Legal and Compliance teams to decompose the data requirements of new and current Privacy Legislations
- Identifying and documenting scope for Privacy Legislations for centralized LOBs
- Matrix managing LOB Leads to drive broad identification of data scope
- Driving Data Management Data Privacy Product roadmap including establishing a firm-wide product inclusive of all LOBs
- Ensure policies and standards appropriately meet requirements for the Data Privacy Product
- Financial management of budget, technology headcount, forecast and reconciliation
Required Experience:
- 3+ years with large multiple-LOB program management and key project initiatives
- Expertise in communication at the highest levels of the organization and with government channels
- Ability to lead initiatives/change across a large, complex, geographical diverse environment
- Proven ability in developing relationships with stakeholders, communicating project/program status, and understanding detailed business requirements across multiple project initiatives
- Familiarity with PII and data management concepts (experience with GDPR & CCPA a plus)
- Advanced knowledge of Risk and Controls & Legal compliance landscapes, ensuring company-wide standards are met
- Ability to execute the business' strategic direction to deliver technology that meets internal and external needs
- Must have strong organizational skills to plan, organize and drive delivery
- Must be strong in Power Point and executive delivery
- Proven success working with a variety of internal/external teams at various levels of management
- Experience with complex data and technical concepts and working with technical staff as needed
- Ability to work independently and develop creative ways to achieve goals
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, and SharePoint
- Proven ability to influence and communicate with stakeholders across functions
