As a Sr. Data Engineer, you are responsible for designing and developing robust, scalable solutions for collecting and analyzing large data sets using AWS big data technologies. You will be creating and maintaining data pipelines and architecting the foundation of data engineering in terms of technical choice and process in the AWS cloud.

What You'll Do

• Architect, develop, and own data pipelines at an enterprise level.
• Write robust programs for acquiring data from a variety of sources.
• Automate existing processes, improve stability and increase efficiency.
• Work closely with Data Scientists to build, launch, maintain models and model frameworks.
• Interface with Engineering and Product to promote data governance and improve data integrity.
• Teach other Data Engineers about current industry practices and tools to improve the Data team's effectiveness.

What We're Looking For

• Exceptional coding skills, preferably in Python and Ruby.
• At least three years of experience in a Data Engineering role.
• Expertise in database design, data warehousing concepts, and data pipeline architecture.
• Experience with AWS cloud services: S3, EC2, RDS, Glue, Athena, etc.
• Experience with Airflow, Kubernetes, and Docker a plus.
• Proactive. Can lead complex project with a "can-do" mentality.
