The Client Enablement Specialist is dedicated to a specific client for the main purpose of supporting the client’s global meetings and event management strategy. This is accomplished by meeting or exceeding specific deliverables including, but not limited to, oversight of day to day operations as it relates to Cvent technology, analysis of the client’s account with the goal of providing recommendations for efficiencies, and ongoing account maintenance.

  • Manage and maintain client relationships in addition to providing direction and support to client’s other vendors from a technical perspective
  • Work together with account management and other internal employees to drive long-term success for the client’s programs
  • Perform system administrator duties
  • Provide business intelligence and cross-meeting reporting to the client to support client objectives
  • Train new users on client’s meetings and events program as it relates to Cvent technology
  • Presenting solutions
  • Work flexible hours to support a global account / team (this may sometimes include other work outside the standard workday or on weekends or conference calls)
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 4+ years meetings industry experience, pharmaceutical industry preferred
  • 2+ years meeting technology software experience preferred (Cvent, Starcite, eTouches)
  • Understands the use of web-based applications and database concepts (for reporting purposes)
  • General understanding of meeting-related business processes
  • Strong sense of accountability; resourcefulness in identifying a problem or process improvement and following through to implement
  • Strong organizational & time management skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining high quality standards
  • Strong communication skills through all mediums with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships (for all levels of an organization, including executives)
  • Proven analytical skills with consistent high attention to detail; accuracy in spelling and grammar
  • Personal integrity, initiative
  • Leadership qualities
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite of products (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a demanding environment
  • Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced corporate organization
  • University Degree or equivalent corporate experience
  • Experience using Salesforce.com, web conferencing software, HTML and CSS are a plus
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
