Development Support - Design

Job Description

Rockstar San Diego is looking for Development Support to join our award-winning game-development team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within our multiplayer design team on upcoming Rockstar projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Generate production documentation.
• Gameplay balance and functionality testing.
• Author multiplayer content using in-house tools.
• Provide clear and detail written reports of bugs to game team.
• Communicate across departments to trace status of game deliverables.

QUALIFICATIONS

• College degree and/or strong technical background.
• Ability to analyze, identify, and communicate problems effectively.
• Proactive, and able to independently take projects through to completion.
• Experience with console video games.
• Exceptional inter-personal skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be accurate and effective working toward deadlines.
• Schedule flexibility, including the ability to work overtime and occasional weekends.

DESIRED

Please note these are desirable skills and not required to apply for the position.

• QA Tester or Junior Designer experience.
• Excellent administrative skills.
• Good understanding of general game design and multi-player design is a plus.
• Understanding of and enthusiasm for Rockstar's games.
