We are looking for a talented and results-oriented senior marketer to lead the growing Cvent Hospitality Cloud marketing team in Europe. The Cvent Hospitality Cloud provides technology solutions to hotels and other venues to help them generate profitable MICE and business transient growth.

You will be a member of Cvent Europe’s senior leadership team and of the Cvent Hospitality Cloud global marketing leadership team, reporting directly to the Vice President of Marketing at Cvent headquarters in the US. You will be accountable for achieving key business objectives through regional marketing strategy development, regional campaign creation and global campaign localisation, and hands-on execution with our European marketing team. You will take our thought leadership content to a new and more engaging level, help position Cvent effectively in the hospitality market, and expand our reach and demand generation effectiveness through digital and live events channels. You will partner internally with sales leadership and play a market-facing role through engagement with customers and participation in speaking and media opportunities. You will be a strong project manager who will handle the delivery of our B2B marketing campaigns through multiple channels while working closely with US-based product marketing and brand teams to lead a consistent customer narrative.

Cvent will look to you to lead the development of a successful B-to-B engagement strategy that leverages digital channels and thought leadership content and navigates successfully the challenges brought by privacy regulations in order to build and maintain a strong contact database and to market effectively to customers and prospects.

You will direct a team of seven marketing professionals. The right person for this role is both a creative and strategic thinker, a self-starter used to wearing many hats – shifting from various disciplines of marketing during the day–and has the ability and experience to get up and running quickly. You will be able to build strong relationships with senior internal stakeholders, in particular your European sales colleagues, and work effectively globally, especially with your marketing counterparts in the United States.

This leader will be required to work out of our London office. Local candidates only as no relocation assistance is offered.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Provide strategic leadership to the European-based Hospitality Cloud Marketing team based on corporate and Cloud strategy
• Develop marketing strategy, budgets and plans and execute plans to hit key metrics
• Drive B2B lead generation for the EU market through programs and campaigns with particular emphasis on content marketing, digital channels and live events
• Collaborate with sales management to improve processes and lead conversion, drive pipeline, accelerate sales and manage at risk-accounts
• Partner effectively with global cross-functional key stakeholders to drive optimal offering in market
• Manage the customer experience and event marketing at premier events
• Work with the Cvent Hospitality Cloud Product Marketing team to ensure value propositions and marketing messages are reflected in all marketing campaigns
• Analyze ROI and the effectiveness of marketing campaigns
• Pursue and execute speaking opportunities and trade shows and conferences in the region
• Lead Europe PR activities through local agency relationship and work with global corporate communications office
• Review all existing marketing assets, align these against the buying and sales process and identify any gaps for European markets

What You Need for this Position :

• University Degree required
• 15+ years of overall marketing experience, with at least 10 years of leadership experience
• Marketing experience in Europe in the B2B sector
• Travel/hospitality industry experience
• Proven success generating leads in B2B environment
• Innovative thinker capable of operating both in a strategic capacity and a hands-on execution capacity
• Analytical skills to determine marketing effectiveness of campaigns and programs
• Superior written and verbal communication skills, able to present findings clearly in written reports and to senior management
• Proven track record and significant experience in event management, campaign execution, ROI analysis, testing and measurement
• Strength in working with cross-functional teams including executive management, product management, customer success, operations, sales and marketing.
• Fast learner with the ability to execute in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment
• Self-directed, organized and disciplined team player
