What is the Opportunity?

As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for ensuring all Account Transfers requests for Wealth Management clients coming from other financial institutions into RBC, are monitored and completed in a timely manner. You will utilize your excellent communication skills to address transfers related matters with various external partners. As a professional, representing RBC and its values, you will use your skills when dealing with other Financial Institutions to address and resolve issues related to the transfer requests.

Candidates may already be working in a client service role within Royal Bank, or have already been in such a role, and would like to further be part of the team at Canada’s largest and most successful financial company. The skills and desire to provide excellent client service are essential to ensure our clients receive an exceptional experience in all engagements.

** NOTE: This is a 12 mos. contract position.

What will you do?

  • Ensure transfers are processed accurately and completed in a timely fashion
  • Provide support to other operations members and branches as defined in Service Level Agreements (SLA)
  • Ability to prioritize daily tasks
  • Ensure that quality service is provided and represent RBC in a professional manner at all times.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Strong client service orientation within financial industry as demonstrated by proven track record (Preferred).
  • Microsoft Office skills, intermediate level.
  • Proven organizational skills, self-motivated individual.
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of BTS, CDS, Fundserv, and DTC
  • Knowledge of Sales Platform, CART, Service Platform, Peoplesoft
  • Knowledge of Account Transfer processes
  • Bilingual in French and English
