Job Description Overview

The Supplier Enablement team is looking for a Network Enablement Lead, an important role collaborating with both buyer and supplier customers on efforts that enable interaction via the Ariba Network. The Network Enablement Lead will independently drive the buyer towards their project goals as well as coordinate internal resources and team interactions that focus on driving maximum benefit for the customer on the Ariba Network. This role is responsible for managing multiple enablement relationships with varying complexity.


Duties and Responsibilities:

The Network Enablement Lead drives the following activities related to enabling buyer-supplier relationships on the Ariba Network:

  • Appropriately identifies issues, potential risks and opportunities while working with a high degree of autonomy to address, escalate or handover within and across teams as appropriate
  • Interacts with both buyer and supplier customers providing education and training on the value of the Ariba Network
  • Serves as a knowledge expert and communicates opportunities to bring business impacting value to customers on the Ariba Network
  • Runs weekly reporting and delivers analysis of project status to customer with firm action plans to address stalled enablement areas, including transacting potential
  • Runs internal alignment calls to ensure internal resources that impact enablement work stream are on same page and on track
  • Forecasts projected enablement activity
  • Facilitates and/or participates in cross-functional collaboration with customer
  • Serve as customer's primary point of contact for ongoing supplier enablement activity

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

  • Four (4) years previous experience in Account Management, Technology Project Management or similar role
  • 2 years (2) of Procurement and/or AP Experience and/or Enterprise Business Applications Experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (specifically, Excel)
  • Ability to travel ~15%

Preferred Qualifications :

  • B2B, E-commerce and/or SaaS experience
  • Program and customer relationship management experience
  • Knowledge of Ariba solutions/services
  • Understanding of AP and Procurement processes and Buyer/Supplier interfaces
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Business Applications
  • Experience preparing and delivering analyses and presentations
  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Work well under the pressures of time and uncertainty
  • Pro-active work ethic and strong initiative
  • Detail oriented with strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Experience in end-user training and change management a plus
  • Ability to multi-task and set priorities
