Description

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prioritize and submit mainframe jobs and associated control sheets for timely completion. Mainframe jobs may include but are not limited to special customer requested reports or reprints.
  • Coordinate job submission to include control sheet preparation, workflow management batch creation and on-line logging as required. Provide production status information to internal and external customers.
  • Score Catalog and Special programs. Create mailing labels by submitting building lists when required.
  • Score late requests and report corrections. Correctly place an order on hold and forward to the correct group, and add messages after scoring in ScorFlow and WFM pertaining to the orders and batches.
  • Create and attach Sub-P numbers after Roll-Ups have been submitted for Regional/District summary reports.
  • Close Pre-ID orders from ScorFlow stations, create mailing labels, and submit Pre-ID paperwork to Accounting.
  • Control sheet design, maintenance and distribution.
  • Administer the WFM system including route control block creation, maintenance and batch prefixes.
  • Oracle Sales Order import and batching, adjustments and cancellations.
  • Evaluate mainframe and CAWA output to determine successful job stream completion, and notify appropriate personnel of errors or deviations from published procedures. Monitor and maintain overall product quality and integrity.
  • Investigate cause of program abends by following guidelines to correct problems encountered or assist technical personnel in problem resolution making temporary JCL changes as requested.
  • Process and submit PV-E2E Acceptance Test and Production Oracle tasks in support of Oracle packaging and distribution projects and MRP. This includes: daily discrete job creation, daily requisition release for purchased items, PSO file loads, ODE extracts, process PV-E2E Acceptance Tests, create item labels and outbound labels, submit Runbooks, maintain project documentation and support Enhancement Testing.
  • Coordinate priority requests for mainframe and CAWA jobs. Update and monitor the print priority list frequently throughout the day. Provide special instructions for Printing including PDFs of the printed material and destination of printed material. Investigate and respond to inquiries about current status and location of job output.
  • PRISMA responsibilities include changing job attributes to allow test jobs to print and deletion of print jobs no longer needed.
  • Move mainframe jobs over to corresponding PRISMA print classes and destinations.
  • Rename data files and dataset names to allow resubmitting of jobs.
  • Load files to Media Creation System.
  • Distribute listings, reports, electronic mail and completed schedules as required
  • Complete project schedules, reports and files that document production status on a current and year-to-date basis. Maintain project information/data including listings and control sheets based on document retention specifications
  • Monitor servers and assist on-call personnel with error resolution and programs as needed
  • Oscar Support
  • May be required to be on-call for some projects.
  • Provide support for other Coordinators as needed, across all shifts and locations
  • Backup for Production Analysts as required.
  • Quality/Process Improvement
  • Establish and reinforce the highest level of quality in all aspects of department responsibility.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new procedures within functional areas of department.
  • ISO documentation, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Assist Production Analysts with Oracle processes as necessary.

Qualifications

Education, Knowledge and Experience

  • Associate's degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in Operations or Customer Support.
  • PC skills required, including knowledge of Windows, Excel, Word and Google applications.

Other Skills and Abilities

  • Working knowledge of production processing preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills required.
  • Working knowledge of TSO (E.J), CICS, CICSTEST,WFM, RMDS, PRISMA, ScorFlow, CAWA, OSCAR, Oracle Packaging & Distribution System, JES, JCL and mainframe systems and servers preferred.
  • Willingness to work in and support a team environment while demonstrating a good attitude is required.
  • Ability to effectively support remote production sites.
