Role Overview
This position is for a recognized Electrical and Electronics Engineering master. Acts as an internal consultant and represents the organization at external events. Performs engineering work, manages project schedule, and provides leadership on projects.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Acts as an internal consultant providing technical guidance on projects.
• Oversees the engineering work and the administrative duties of a small work group to ensure that business objectives are met.
• Provides work leadership and trains less experienced professional and technical staff, when required, to help them diagnose and solve problems and to strengthen the function.
• Drives project schedules to keep programs running efficiently.
• Acts as the organization’s representative at conferences, meetings, boards, panels, committees, or working groups to present, explain, or defend findings or recommendations, negotiate compromises or agreements, or exchange information.
• Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks.
• Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
• Produces products according to specifications, using the most cost effective and efficient means.
• Analyzes and evaluates new or improved electronic components.
• Includes power generation, transmission and distribution, rotating machinery, illumination, wire communication systems and servomechanisms.
• Includes circuit theory, computer design and development, instrumentation, radio communications, semiconductor devices, solid state devices, and television systems.

Basic Qualifications:
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline and 10 years of relevant experience or an Advanced degree in the appropriate discipline and 7 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience is required.
