PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
• Carry out specialized Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety (RAMS) analysis over the Solution/Product/Platform for projects under his/her responsibility and translate the results into specific requirements and improvement actions for the overall system.
• This role requires good collaboration and management, good communication skills, adherence to processes, efficiency and out of the box thinking when needed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Plan, coordinate, perform, and execute all tasks required to achieve the project RAMS milestones: RAM Program Plan, System Safety Plan, reliability prediction analysis, maintainability analysis, PHA, SHA, SSHA, IHA, O&SHA, FTA, FMECA, Hazard Log, Fire Engineering Report, Safety Case, etc.
• Ensure that committed RAMS deliverables to all projects under his/her responsibility are achieved within time, quality and budget and in line with legislation and safety.
• Work with project team to review, provide independent feedback, and approve subsystem implementation in order to ensure the system and subsystem satisfy project and regulatory RAMS requirement and applicable standards.
• Coordinate, monitor, establish Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and report status of RAMS activities to System Assurance Manager in order to convey status of system operational performance against the established project requirements and organization objectives.
•Provide RAMS technical expertise in support of other departments and less experienced personnel.

Qualifications
• Bachelor in Engineering
• Previous experience in railway project – RAMS, including wayside, rolling stock and signalling are preferred
• Must be a railways RAMS expert and proficient in the CENELEC standards, especially EN50126, 50128, and 50129.
• Excellent understanding of safety and RAMS concepts and procedures good knowledge of development of safety critical integrated systems and entire system development lifecycle.
• Proven ability using techniques such as FMECA, FTA, RBD, etc.
• Familiarise with the following subsystem design will be considered as a plus: Platform Screen Doors, Power supply and Power rail, Track Switches, Communication and SCADA, Signalling, Rolling Stock, Depot Equipment.
