Description
The Electronics Supervisor is responsible for directing the activities of Electronic Technicians that repair, modify, troubleshoot, overhaul and test wayside electrical and electronic systems of a light rail transportation system. Create plans to perform preventative and correct maintenance. Monitor and measure employee performance, work standards, safety rules and operating procedures. Account for all time and material used to complete work MAXIMO tracking system. Enforce safety rules, work processes/procedures, monitor and audit employees work activities to ensure employees are in compliance and to work standards and safety procedures.
Qualifications
AS degree from a recognized college or technical trade school and 3 years experience as a Journeyman electrician with electronics and 2 years of supervisor experience in a union environment preferred. Ability to express technical ideas, problems and solutions orally and in writing in accordance with accepted rules of English grammar. Will require flexibility to work in a 24/7 shift environment, must possess a valid driver license and ability to pass a 10 year background check for Non-Aeronautical Operations Area ID Card (Non AOA ID Card).
