Additionally, candidates must possess a passion for providing world-class service, experience in software support, and have ability to learn new systems and/or enhanced functionality within an existing system.   • Proactively manage payroll updates and maintenance of an assigned client base using Paycor’s proprietary software
  • Act as a trusted payroll advisor to clients to recommend changes in products, services, and policies by uncovering payroll needs and evaluating product configuration; educate and counsel them on payroll best practices
  • With periodic on-site visits and telephone conversations , trouble shoot, research and provide equitable solutions to clients’ needs related to maintenance and customized configurations of payroll software
  • Provide assistance and support to clients for incoming payroll queries and issues related to Paycor’s software applications
  • Assist in writing reports and consult with clients on the technical requirements for API connections and other integration solutions including, but not limited to, data imports, PSO, etc.
  • Regularly train new business contacts on Paycor processes and software
  • Collaborate with HR and Time & Attendance teammates to meet changing clients’ needs through effective communication and regular meeting attendance
  • Manage the daily payroll posting process for assigned clients
  • Attain and maintain advanced knowledge of current payroll practices and issues
  • Maintain working knowledge of complex retirement and benefit plans, as well as federal, state and local rules for various payroll and benefit related deductions
  • Document client communications and interactions in appropriate client relationship systems
  • Promote Paycor’s full products and services packages; facilitate lead generation back to Paycor’s Inside Sales team as appropriate
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting preferred or equivalent experience required.
  • Familiarity with HCM software, including the ability to troubleshoot software s configurations
  • Ability to effectively solve problems by balancing detailed questions with creative solutions
  • Proven strong customer service and relationship building skills required
  • Project management experience and proven multi-tasking ability
  • Ability to interface with multiple departments, multi-task, think on your feet and work independently
  • Effective organizational skills proven in a fast-paced, service-oriented position
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Prior payroll or finance/accounting experience preferred
  • Excellent understanding of Operating Systems and MS Office products
  • Prior experience in training environment; utilizing on-line tools such as GoTo Meeting preferred
