Job Description
Disney Advertising Sales (DAS) is responsible for advertising sales for the Company’s entertainment, sports, news and kids linear and digital and radio business. Global Ad Operations leads the operational function for the Disney Ad Sales team. The Global Ad Operations team focuses on the functions of planning, account management, trafficking, scheduling and sponsorship for the linear & digital business for ESPN, ABC, FreeForm, FX, NatGeo & Disney. The Manager, Third Party Operations will act as a Global Ad Operations lead for all of Disney claimed content across third party platforms. This role supplies support across TWDC business units and is responsible for overseeing a team of content claimers. The Manager will act as a subject matter expert for all YouTube monetization efforts related to Disney IP.
They will communicate effectively with various teams across TWDC including Corporate Brand Management and Anti-Piracy. The Manager, Third Party Operations will also play a key role in identifying new inventory streams that can then be monetized by DAS.
Responsibilities : - Lead business relationships with TWDC business unit executives related to claiming Disney content across third party platforms; lead tactical discussions, provide insights and organize QBRs
- Manage team of content claimers; identify efficiencies in workflow and lead all training an onboarding
- Collaborate with Disney Legal to regularly clear new titles and content types for claiming
- Manage day-to-day relationship with platform partners (YouTube, Facebook, etc.) ensuring effective and efficient operations are in place to continue to grow the business, onboard new processes and roll out new product features
- Support Sales and Ad Operations teams with filling inventory needs across YouTube; brainstorm new ways to grow revenue
- Strategize incremental inventory streams affiliated to Disney claimed content across all available platforms
Basic Qualifications : - Minimum of 4 years of related experience in advertising business specifically in operations
- Background and knowledge of third party platforms specifically YouTube
- Experience in a supervisory or training role
- Customer support or partnerships background preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with varying levels of Management, including Senior Executives
Required Education :
