Senior Project Manager

Job Description

A Senior Project Manager at BVAccel leads cross-functional teams and is responsible for production, profitability, resourcing, execution, quality and delivery of projects. They are accountable for overall project health, burn and tracking of project budgets. As a Senior member of the team, you will also have the opportunity to lead some of our largest client engagements and mentor junior Project Managers. ***Please note, BVAccel is unable to sponsor employment visas at this time***

What you'll do...

• Work collaboratively with customers & internal stakeholders, owning communications for team meetings, status reports, change requests, etc.
• Lead and participate in cooperative efforts with cross-functional project/program team members
• Be accountable for project initiation & planning, overseeing development, testing, & implementation
• Champion & build relationships internally & externally to achieve business goals
• Define & track project milestones while developing, maintaining, & reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan
• Obtain feedback to assure that project effort meets customer expectations regarding timeline, budget, & objectives, while raising & escalating potential flags
• Mentor & develop junior Project Managers

What you'll need...

• 4+ years leading technology projects in a relevant space ( SaaS, commerce, Big Data)
• Experience managing various project methodologies
• Experience managing internal & external stakeholders
• Experience effectively using project management tools & software (JIRA, Confluence)
• Agile experience, Certified Agile Practitioner or Scrum Certification is a plus
