As the Partner Account Manager for Fleet, you'll own the sourcing, structure, and business development relationships with individual partners in Samsara’s emerging Partner Channel. This is a dynamic, entrepreneurial role in which you will work with partners of all shapes and sizes to take the Internet of Things to market, enabling Samsara to scale its fleet business and bring the benefits of sensor data to customers via an explosive new channel. You will have the opportunity to help scale existing relationships and launch new and exciting strategic partnerships. Activities will include relationship building and management from the C-suite down, program building and execution, marketing, training and enablement of Partners and Representatives, and data oriented practice development done in high-touch collaboration with Samsara’s partner community.

This position is based in our San Francisco HQ location.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years sales experience with consistent, documented overachievement
  • 2+ years partnership/channel management experience
  • Experience with building and running sales training and enablement programs
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
  • Self-starter with exceptional organization, planning, and execution capabilities
  • Referenceable experience building, executing and iterating on measurable engagements from the ground-up
  • Actively initiating and hosting product/ sales trainings, pipeline calls and marketing campaigns
  • Managing and educating internal sales/success teams to better work with your partners
  • Advocating for your partners internally and externally to our customers

J ob Function/Tactical Activities:

  • Evaluate potential partnerships for both feasibility and impact on business outcomes
  • Lead cross-functional projects with Product, Finance, Sales and Marketing to implement business strategies and scale operations
  • Manage and grow relationships with current and future strategic partners
  • Ability to form and articulate contractual, technical, financial and strategic value points with partners and internal teams.
  • Excellent project management ability, capable of leading multiple time-sensitive cross-functional projects
  • Ability to drive excellent tactical execution against targeted list of acquisition accounts
  • Ability to quickly diagnose value within potential partnerships and prioritize engagements in a dynamic fashion

In your first week, you'll:

  • Travel to Samsara HQ in San Francisco for a week of New Hire Training
  • Attend a variety of different onboarding sessions, where you'll: receive a thorough introduction to our leadership team. be immersed in our product offerings and meet our CEO, Sanjit Biswas, in a "Samsara 101" class
  • Meet your team and fellow new hire cohort
  • Shadow cold-calls, product demos, etc.
