Job Description

The Role

The Country Manager is responsible for driving the sales and delivery strategy and operations in Germany. They will hire and develop Managers within their organization, develop high-performing and cohesive teams, drive motivation and retention and ensure Tesla in Germany is recognized as a top employer. The Country Manager contributes and drives decisions on our real estate footprint, takes accountability for achieving ambitious sales and delivery targets and ensures the business performs on key success criteria including: outstanding customer satisfaction and profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Influence effective allocation and coordination of resources locally including support functions: communications, marketing, service, etc
  • Responsible for monitoring costs in the market to enhance net profitability
  • Collaborate closely with central (HQ-based) sales, delivery and logistics operations and performance functions to ensure aligned strategy and seamless execution in the field. Hire, develop, lead and motivate a sales and delivery team
  • Lead their team to deliver an excellent customer experience across the whole value chain from first contact with the brand/ product to ongoing ownership experience
  • Identify, develop and execute activities, to develop the market, expand the customer base and ultimately drive leads, sales/orders, deliveries
  • Actively participate in the strategic design of our charging infrastructure footprint in the market to enable sales.
  • Collaborate and assist in managing the real estate strategy, from location search to opening - across the portfolio of retail, delivery, service and office locations.
  • Facilitate growing community of Tesla owners and create opportunities for brand building Collaborate closely with Service, Communications, Operations and other functions to support company goals
  • Contribute to broader European sales strategy and initiatives, engage in the network of European Sales and Delivery Managers, share and leverage best practices across borders.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by line management
  • Play a fundamental role in preparing the business for future growth and plans
