Boeing Commercial Airlines (BCA) Manufacturing Support & Offload Paint is seeking a Supply Chain Operations Manager to join our team at the Seattle Delivery Center in Seattle or Renton, WA..

This position has the possibility to be in the following locations: Seattle or Renton, WA, and relocation is based on candidate eligibility.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage Procurement Field Service & Procurement Agent employees performing activities related to managing supplier & vendor assist in delivering aircraft to our airline customers.
• Oversight of employees who manage on-site supplier activities including:
• Supplier performance
• Monitor supplier progress and provide status as needed
• Determine responsibility of issues based on evidence, experience, and other data
• Management of customer pickups and supplier engagement on the flight line
• Review vendor responsible paperwork (Tags, CRO, CAR, Rapids, OSIP’s) for: accuracy, parts on order, correct planning, tooling and provide aircraft availability
• Develop and execute project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
• Acquire resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
• Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, suppliers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
• Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
• Manage, develop and motivate employees.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher is required
• 3+ years of experience working in a cross functional environment and/or business unit teams
• 1+ years experience in a managerial or team lead role

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

• Experience applying verbal and written communication skills including spelling, grammar, punctuation, form and style, proof reading and editing skills.
• Experience with any of the following aircraft operations: flight line maintenance, manufacturing, assembly or interiors
• 7 + years of experience working in Supplier Management, or with Procurement practices and processes

Typical Education / Experience:

• Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+5 years' related work experience, 8 years' related work experience, etc.)
