Implementation Consultant

You will play a key role in ensuring the successful onboarding of customers onto Marin's digital marketing SaaS platform, designing technical solutions that solve customer business challenges and building value-driven technical relationships with new and existing customers.

The position combines communication and technical skills at a critical point in the prospect/customer life-cycle to design, document and implement the integration strategies necessary to make Marin's customers successful.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Understanding Marin's products and supported integration methods.
• Leading discovery/scoping calls and authoring integration plans for assigned projects.
• Assessing customer technology ecosystem, business goals and constraints to identify likely integration method(s).
• Owning customer communication and overall delivery schedule for simple to moderate-complexity projects.
• Coordinating with Project Management (PM) counterparts to successfully deliver high-complexity projects.
• Managing multiple projects of competing priority and varying complexity.
• Performing the integration tasks defined in the integration plan including:
  • Configuring Marin accounts and URLs for tracking.
  • Linking Publisher accounts.
  • Deploying JavaScript tracking code.
  • Scripting in Python for basic transformations/ETL.
  • Composing SQL queries.
• Troubleshooting issues related to tracking code deployment, URL structure and integration setup.
• Collaborating cross-functionally (Sales, Support, Product Management, Engineering etc.) to manage and drive issues to resolution.
• Informing the product roadmap by identifying features and issues negatively impacting Marin's ability to onboard customers.

The experience we are looking for...

• 2+ years in a Professional Services and/or Web Development role.
• Commercial experience with SQL and Python
• Familiarity with data transformation/ETL concepts and tools: SSIS, Pentaho, etc.
• Demonstrable Excel skills: pivot tables, vlookup, etc.
• Excellent problem solving, decision making and time management skills; ability to manage competing priorities and aggressive timelines; able to break down complex tasks into subtasks and execute to completion.
• Excellent verbal, written communication skills; able to present to technical and non-technical audiences.

• Exposure to analytics platforms: Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.
• Exposure to ad serving and measurement platforms: DoubleClick, Sizmek, Atlas, etc.
• Exposure to tag managers: Google Tag Manager, Signal, Tealium, etc.
• Exposure to attribution concepts and vendors: First-touch, last-touch, multi-touch, ClearSaleing, Converto, Abakus, etc.
