The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards include quarterly bonuses, Long Term Incentive Plan units, an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
San Francisco Bay Area Base Salary Range: 148,000 - 192,000 USD per year
Your job: Indeed’s Advertising Products make it possible for job seekers across the world to easily access jobs while helping employers hire the right talent and increase brand, company awareness. Our advertising platforms are highly-performant, deployed at scale, and setting new standards for enabling effective advertising.
You will work closely with enterprise customers to lead strategy and execution on the product roadmap that enable customers to succeed with their targeting needs from Indeed’s advertising systems. Your mission will be to help employers hire by enabling them to target job seekers on various platforms, in differing stages of their job seeker journey.
Responsibilities
- Be the face of the customer internally by understanding, representing customer needs, opportunities and product requirements.
- Identify market opportunities and define product vision, strategy.
- Build and articulate a product roadmap that maps to customer needs, the market opportunity, the technology landscape and operational needs of internal, external stakeholders.
- Drive execution by engaging closely with Engineering, UX to help determine the best technical implementation as well as a reasonable implementation schedule. Understand markets, competition, user personas and customer requirements in depth.
- Collaborate with partners and other advertising systems to identify & execute commercially viable models targeting job seekers on various platforms & differing stages of their job seeker journey.
- Collaborate with customer facing stakeholders to identify, monitor product goals and success metrics.
- Iterate quickly to launch new features and make data driven decisions to test their efficacy.
- Communicate effectively to articulate the product's current state, investment areas to influence stakeholders and leadership.
- Work closely with other advertising technologies, products and systems to execute on necessary technical integrations.
- Within Indeed, this role is considered a Technical Product Manager role.
About you: We are looking for someone with the following industry experience:
- 4+ years of software product management experience in Enterprise products. Prior coding and product management experience will be a definite plus.
- 2+ years of product management experience in Ad Tech products.
- Experience driving the product vision, roadmap, design discussions and partner on go-to-market strategy.
- Experience with ad exchange integrations, targeting & retargeting is required.
- Strong analytical skills to define and understand data, metrics, defining commercial models with third party integration is required.
- Direct experience managing, leading cross-functional teams through influence and collaboration.
- The ability to simplify and articulate complex, technical topics for both technical and non-technical audiences, since this role requires a strong understanding of technology and services related to advertising technology.
- A good eye for UI/UX. Need to be comfortable creating wireframes and have an understanding of what makes a good user experience.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experience working in organizations having geographically distributed teams and stakeholders
This job has the following educational requirements: - A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a closely related field, or equivalent experience is a must have.
- A Master's Degree in business is preferred.
