We are seeking an exceptional Payments Strategy & Operations leader who is a creative problem solver with a passion for innovation and helping us revolutionize the way small businesses and self- employed individuals run their business and deliver on our mission of “powering prosperity around the world.”
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross functional leaders on driving growth across our $40B in annual payment charge volume business.
- Bring in external best practices, industry learnings and trends to drive continuous improvement and new strategic direction to the business.
- Ensure cross-functional alignment of goals and execution, set OKRs with teams and drive strategic partnership and new initiatives forward.
- Partner closely with executive leadership; manage cross-organizational processes, collaborate cross-functionally to develop and manage resourcing plans, and support business initiatives.
- Develop insightful recommendations on strategic priorities and go to market opportunities to meet business goals.
- Build models and perform analysis to support the business, including opportunity sizing,
market/industry models and operational planning. - Partner closely with marketing, product management, product development, customer care and finance to measure end-to-end performance of customer and business metrics.
- Lead and coach the team on data analysis, developing dashboards and working on hypothesis testing to drive breakthrough benefits.
- Execute in an intense, fast-paced, and highly iterative environment
Qualifications
- 7 plus years of strategy & operations experience at a top-tier management consulting, fintech and/or growth stage internet or software company.
- The ability to communicate results clearly and a focus on driving impact within the global Payments business.
- Exceptional collaboration and relationship-building skills ... leads and influences across boundaries and an enthusiastic “roll up your sleeves” mentality.
- Strategic and analytical thinker who is hypothesis driven and uses data, judgment & pattern recognition to learn and execute quickly.
- Ability to lead cross-functional groups and drive action
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level of professionalism, passion and a sense of urgency to “make things happen”.
- MBA or similar education a plus
