Role Overview
This position is for a Quality Assurance technician who works under direct supervision. Conducts basic quality analyses and inspections. Assists in analyzing corrective actions and process reengineering. Prepares Quality Assurance materials with product design and specifications.
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Works under direct supervision to assist with the development and implementation of procedures/work instructions.
  • Identifies testing methods and equipment to assure reliability of products in conjunction with product design and specifications.
  • Conducts basic quality analysis, testing and inspections.
  • Validate basic instrumentation.
  • Assists in analyzing and reviewing discrepant material.
  • Records and communicates data for product acceptance.
  • Prepares specimen samples for acceptance testing.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Work Environment:

  • Work performed in a production or laboratory environment. Limited exposure to physical risk.
  • Shift schedule consists of five 8-hour workdays with extended hours available, as required. May include holidays and weekends.
  • Must be able to lift items that weigh up to 35 pounds.
  • Some travel as needed.

Basic Qualifications:
This position requires an HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.In the absence of a HS diploma, GED or AA/AS degree, 4 years of relevant experience is required.
