CDK Global is hiring a Business Operations Reporting Analyst to work within and support our Digital Advertising Agency.
The Business Operations Reporting Analyst provides advanced level of expertise in identifying, driving, developing and/or deploying technical systems and/or reporting solutions within the Services group. This position is responsible for:
. Independently conducting the analysis of business issues and requests that require the creation, updating and/or enhancements to Services business systems and/or reporting solutions.
. Applies strong knowledge of established Services business processes to recommend appropriate solutions that help solve the identified business need(s).
. Utilizes advanced knowledge of SQL, Tableau, SalesForce and/or other applicable tools, technology, and business systems to perform gap analysis, document business requirements, recommend solutions, identify level of effort and deliver on complex business-critical projects.
. Works directly with business and technology stakeholders, Services program management and supporting resources to identify and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
. Performs configuration and testing of agreed upon solutions as assigned.
. Provide expert level of technical and business expertise to other team members including solution analysis, quality review and testing of developed solutions.
. Actively participates in business strategy discussions relating to new functionality, system solutions or other broadly scoped initiatives as assigned.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
. Business Analysis : Plans, conducts, and documents analysis efforts associated with assigned business processes and issues or initiatives that require creation of new and/or updating of existing business systems, tools and/or critical business processes. This includes managing business process review (BPR) sessions with stakeholders, documenting business requirements, providing relevant solution options and creation of functional specifications and use-cases to support any associated business system configuration or development efforts.
. Systems/Application Support and Administration: Provides expert level of systems support, maintenance and administration for assigned systems. This includes administration and configuration associated with assigned database, CRM, telephony or related applications and tools to ensure alignment with the requirements of the business. Provide subject matter expert to team members and stakeholders on assigned systems and other business-critical applications.
. Reporting Development and Data Analysis . Develops, executes, and maintains assigned datasets, reports and data mining efforts specific to all core business systems supported by the Services Operations team. This includes performing expert level data and impact analysis on assigned metrics, business processes and systems to ensure accuracy and relevance to Services initiatives and business priorities.
PREVIOUS SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE. 4+ years using SQL or other relational database query tools to mine and maintain applicable datasets. This includes performing complex SQL work: query, code, mapping and related activities
. 4+ years developing and building reports in Tableau, Oracle BI or similar database-driven solutions.
. Strong Microsoft Excel experience.
. Prior experience in a digital marketing environment a plus.
. Provided business and/or data analysis expertise on key contact center (or like) systems such as CRM, Customer Satisfaction (CSI), Workforce Management and/or Call Monitoring systems
. 5+ years in performing complex business systems analysis that included gathering and writing detailed business requirements, identifying recommendations, and building and testing of use-cases that support customer needs.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
. Proven track record of researching and analyzing complex technical issues and then summarizing them via table, graphs, and written analysis
. Strong verbal and interpersonal skills; exceptional writing skills demonstrated by delivering clear, correct and timely communications and effectively working with others.
. Ability to analyze complex data or systems issues and to provide actionable recommendations to impacted teams based on the analysis
. Ability to analyze complex business processes and identify efficiency opportunities and/or solutions to resolve process gaps or related business challenges
. Identify, develop and document requirements that clearly support and communicate needs to Services stakeholders, IT and supporting teams
. Ability to effectively present analysis and data findings to wide range of technical and non-technical audiences
. Detail oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills to meet critical deadline
. Ability to interface effectively with multiple functions/organizations and all levels of management.
. Ability to design solutions that anticipate areas of contention and are adaptable to future changes
. Strong data and problem solving ability
. Ability to analyze, test and document solutions to ensure business requirements have been satisfied
. Ability to administer data warehouse systems and other assigned systems/tools
. Ability to effectively troubleshoot data inaccuracies, identify root causes, and take corrective action
. Ability to effectively mentor and train associates within job family
