Role Overview
This position is for an entry-level contracts professional responsible for drafting of proposals and a variety of contract documents.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Under moderate supervision, drafts, generates, interprets and manages proposals and contract documents, in accordance with internal and external customer schedules and requests, ensuring documents reflect business objectives.
• Supports the contract managers by coordinating input from a variety sources during sales campaign and negotiation processes.
• Advises and represents the organization on legal issues concerning contract matters.
• Creates proposals, negotiates and executes contracts.
• Provides legal advice on warranty and contract administration.
• Prepares legal documentation for legal and contract negotiations and relationships.
• Prepares legal applications for warranty and new contracts, as needed.
• Maintains historical legal records.
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with reviewing and editing business contracts
  • Experience interfacing with internal and external customer groups
  • Strong attention to detail

Basic Qualifications:
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline and less than 3 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a degree, 4 years of relevant experience is required.
